Registered or interested in our Women's Self-Defense Courses but have questions? Hopefully, the below addresses some of your concerns.  As we prepare for these sessions, it's essential to highlight the importance of personal hygiene and appropriate dress attire for everyone's comfort and safety.

 **Personal Hygiene:**

  1.  Please ensure that you are clean and have practiced basic personal hygiene before attending each class. This includes taking a shower, using deodorant, brushing your teeth, and any other routine hygiene practices.

  2.  Avoid wearing strong perfumes or scents, as some participants may have allergies or sensitivities.

**Clothing:**

  1. Wear comfortable clothing that allows for ease of movement. Loose-fitting clothes like t-shirts, tank tops, or athletic wear are ideal. Please avoid overly restrictive clothing that may impede your ability to perform self-defense techniques.

  2. Leggings, or comfortable pants are suitable options for the lower body. However, please ensure that they are not too revealing or excessively tight to maintain modesty and facilitate unrestricted movement.

  3. For footwear, athletic shoes or sneakers with good support and traction are recommended. Avoid wearing open-toed shoes, sandals, or high heels as they may pose safety hazards during physical activities. Consider bringing an extra set of clothes or a towel if you anticipate sweating during the class.

**Jewelry and Accessories:**

  1. Remove any excessive jewelry, including large earrings, necklaces, bracelets, or rings that may interfere with your movements or pose a risk of injury to yourself or others.

  2. If you have long hair, tying it back or securing it away from your face is advisable to prevent distractions and ensure clear visibility during demonstrations and practice sessions.

 **Personal Items:**

  1. Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the class.

  2. It's also a good idea to carry a small towel or handkerchief for wiping sweat and maintaining cleanliness during breaks.

By following these guidelines, we aim to create a comfortable and conducive environment for everyone to focus on learning and practicing essential self-defense techniques. Your cooperation in maintaining personal hygiene and dressing appropriately is greatly appreciated.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding these guidelines or any other aspect of the women's self-defense classes, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Thank you for your attention to these important matters, and we look forward to seeing you at the upcoming sessions.
